Ehukai Pillbox on Oahu’s North Shore Hike for Views of Pipeline and Sunset Surf Beaches

There's nothing like watching monster barrels at the most iconic big wave surf spots on Oahu from above. Ehukai pillbox is a short hike that offers just that, with a clear view of Pipeline and Sunset surf beaches. Definitely recommend doing this hike during the winter surf season so you can watch the surfers, otherwise this hike is much less interesting. The hike to the first and second pillbox isn't particularly long or challenging, but there is a network of trails that goes farther back that you can get lost and wander in for a longer hike. If you're just in it for the view though this is a low effort high reward scenario.
