Hiking Pu’u Ma’eli’eli in Kaneohe, a Family Friendly Hike on Oahu

When you want to go on an adventurous hike but have a baby with you, maybe hanging on muddy rope with your feet dangling over a cliff edge and the baby strapped to your back isn't the best option. While the more challenging hikes tend to be more rewarding, there's a number of hikes on Oahu that are relatively short for an impressive view. Pu'u Ma'eli'eli is a mostly shaded, relatively short hike to a view of Kaneohe Bay. The bay is a popular spot for yachts and you can see boat parties far below at the sandbar which makes for a different view. Short, sweet, and simple, with plenty of time to go chill at the beach after.
