Hiking Mauna Lahi Lahi in Makaha on West Oahu

Mauna Lahi Lahi on West Oahu is a secret gem. What’s special about this rock is how quick a climb it is for such an amazing view. You can make it to the top in only ten minutes and have an incredible view of the back of Makaha valley and the shoreline of West Oahu. Park your car, enjoy the view for sunset, and make it back in thirty minutes. As far as low hanging fruit, effort to reward goes, this is the top. You have to be careful though as this is a sharp rock with some scrambling. You don’t want to fall off the side, so make sure to bring athletic footwear and take your time going up.
