Hiking Wailupe Loop for an Incredible Unknown Gem on Oahu

How come nobody does the best hikes on the island? Is there a desire to follow the crowd? People want something challenging but not too challenging? Or is it just because of social media and what's popular? For whatever the reason I'm glad my favorite hikes are relatively untrafficked. Finally did Wailupe Loop and it's one of my new favorites on Oahu. Unique ecosystems, yellow guava forest, pine forest, steep Incline from a river valley to epic ridge views, and a loop on the way back to keep it interesting. 10 / 10 would recommend, but maybe bring clothes you don't mind being destroyed. Won't ruin the surprise more than that, and it's the reason why this hike doesn't attract the big crowds
